Embedded experts in O'Fallon — senior help without the hiring overhead.
Pixelworx drops senior practitioners into your O'Fallon team — short-term, long-term, fractional, or full project lifecycle. Or we find the right person, run a 180-day engagement through Pixelworx, and hand them off to your payroll when you're ready.
O'Fallon businesses don't always need another full-time hire — sometimes they need someone who's done it before.
Specialist work — modern PHP/Laravel architecture, design systems, integration platforms, AI infrastructure — is hard to hire for in O'Fallon. The right person isn't on the local market. The wrong person costs more than they save.
What we embed in O'Fallon teams
Senior Practitioners Only
Every Pixelworx expert is an experienced practitioner who's done the work, not a junior wearing the senior badge to make the rate sheet look better.
Flexible Commitments
Hours-per-week, sprint-by-sprint, retainer, or fixed-scope — we structure the engagement around what your O'Fallon business actually needs, not what's easiest to bill.
Direct Communication
You work directly with the people doing the work — not an account manager translating between you and them. Faster decisions, fewer telephone games.
Plug Into Your Tools
We work in your repos, your project tracker, your Slack, your design files. The process is your process. We adapt to it instead of imposing ours.
Knowledge Transfer Built In
Every engagement assumes there's a future where we're not in the room. Documentation, handover, and the kind of code your future hires can actually maintain.
Scale Up or Down
Add capacity for a launch, then scale back. Take on a discovery, then hand it to your team. We design engagements to flex around your real-world rhythm.
