Where Pixelworx came from.
Most software gets built by people who've only ever been on one side of the screen. Pixelworx started from a different place — out of a career that ran from retail floors through middle management, into corporate operations, and through more software migrations, database projects, and department-wide system conversions than most developers will ever sit in on.
That background shaped a particular point of view: good software isn't just code that runs — it's code that fits. It has to make sense for the people using it today and hold up when circumstances change two or three years from now. Form and function aren't in tension. They're the same problem.
